If you have been reading detik.. (and not my blog), you will have read stories about how the government is pushing RIM (Research In Motion: company who produce BB? doh!) to open a branch/store/support center in Indonesia. If you notice until now, GA ADA cabang RIM di Indonesia! ada yg bisa sebut toko resmi RIM dmn? all are distributors!
So, what happen so far even though you have got urself an official, with warranties, BB broken? lari ke operator? trus kemana larinya? oper lagi ke RIM Singapore! hadooooh.. piye iki? walaupun dikasih replacement sementara.. tapi TEUTEUP!
but Today, I just read another update about this, check it out here. The "permission" has been extended! RIM menunjukkan itikad baik katanya! apose tuh?
yang paling seru kutipan terakhir dari Pak Gatot, Kepala Pusat Informasi Depkominfo, "Ini karena mereka mulai menunjukkan itikad baik. Namun kalau sampai 21 Agustus belum juga rampung. Goodbye saja. Sertifikasi impor akan kami bekukan semua," pungkas Gatot.
