Wow... flooding with firmware updates.. didn't realize we have 4 new firmware updates! :)

started out when I was about to download bbm5 from that site! ota.. unfortunately.. got the following message:

"Update (7/23/09 12:37PM EDT): We have just been ordered by RIM's attorneys to remove BBM5 from our site. Sorry."

knp akhirnya gw mo upgrade? gw pikir gw ga bisa juga backup! remember that I've been having problem with my bbm contact list? that I can't seem to back it up? :(

anyway.. this www.storm.ota is cool! 1st of all, it lists lots of apps and some of the are FREE (weits.. kuping dingin nih denger yang gratis2... kuping dingin?? where did that come from??)

2nd of all, it downloads OTA (Over the air) meaning... brosing aja dari storm lo, and langsung download bgitu ada tulisan free!! ga free jg gpp sih di donlot.. :D

don't ask whether it would work with other bb, coz i haven't got a chance to try it!..
and those of you trying to upgrade ur storm with os 5.0,... DONT!!

gw pernah make waktu upgrade 5.0 di bold gw, ada sedikit bedanya.. dulu blm ada avatar.. kalo ditanya sekarang gw uda donlot blm? uda mo coba cmn fail terus! trus denger crita smua orang! ahahha.. gladly i haven't upgrade it.. dont really need it anyway

bagi yang mo downgrade BBM? bisa dengan pake DM, ada applications? atau klo ga bs juga, downgrade/upgrade bb lagi.. atau jl_cmdr (wipe after backup) baru install firmware lagi.. ga bs jg? ke toko henpon gih! hehehehe

naah.. yang seru ada cerita (hoax) kalo BBM 5 tuh bisa ngetrack bb ga resmi trus bisa suspend pin lo?? oyeeeeeee??? no komen aaaah
trus ada yg bilang juga, RIM ga nyangka klo uda bocor bbm 5 nya, makanya servernya penuh (buat yg ga bs donlot) dan RIM bakal cepet ngeluarin resminya??

I started my day hearing bombs blew off at mega kuningan. It was BOMBS, not BOMB! Couldn't believe what I'm hearing that, again, Mariott is one of the victim! 2 bom bali, kuningan, mariott,.. Kenapa? kenapa lagi? apa lagi nih?

Rentetan berita yang gw dapet makin lama bikin merinding.. dari bom pertama jam 7.40, bom kedua, death toll dari 2, sampe 9 terakhir gw denger.. belom lagi among the victims are CEO of Holcim, then... the 3rd one blew off!! mobil??

Done? not yet, another bomb found unexploded and defused. Done? not yet, rumors of 6, 8, 4040 more bombs to go!, Done? ANOTHER bomb was found in ritz, room 1808. Done? Jakarta Bali siaga 1!, Done? Flights are delayed karena crew, pilots and passengers ga bisa ke airport (macet paraahhh).. Done? Manchester United canceled!! Done? Sundaze rescheduled? nasib Phoenix? Mew? Cut Copy? Mr. BIG?

Wonder how I kept myself updated? a combination of Twitter, FB and BB!!

hey wait a minute, to finish off the day, SBY made a statement di TV and what a bold move it was.! Beliau nunjukin foto-foto hasil intel beberapa pasukan latihan menembak dengan menggunakan foto SBY sebagai sasaran tembak. Beliau juga menyebutkan sederetan ancaman2 yang masuk ke kuping beliau. I guess it all leads to 1 of the candidates??

Then, direspons deh sama yang "merasa". seperti diperkirakan, tangkis dan bales! pff.. I don't know what to comment, really... yang going thru my head ya serentetan kejadian ini BAKAL BERAKIBAT APA?

Modal nekad apgret sendiri.

Apgret selesai langsung battery pull. Pas nyala langsung pencet alt+aA+H...memory freenya nambah biasanya 30an sekarang dapet 41
Applikasi jalan smua : YM, bbm, FB,jivetalk dll ga ada masalah

Hari pertama pake 282 agak terasa beda dr 266 (pemakaian dr jam 7 pagi ampe jam 10an) : memory leak nya kecil, pagi 41mb pas malem 38an.
Batteree nya jg lebih irit dr cabut charger jam 7 pagi ampe jam 9an baru minta dicharge lagi (indikator batere ude merah). Pemakaian harian: messenger, fb, browsing" ringan, denger lagu pk earphone (tape mobil rusak soalnya hehehe), ini gw pake networknya 3G, kl pake 2G baterenya bisa tahan ampe jam 10-11 mlm

Signal BIS nya mantep....dpt signal GPRS, ato pindah dr 3G ke 2G ga lama.(provider T-Sel)
Jam "tanda loading" suka kluar...tp menurut gw masi dalam batas kemanusiaan.
Loading awal sedikit lebih cepet dr 266...browsing jg lebih cepet
buat ngebuka media file (gambar) rada lemot

Overall : lebih baik sedikit dari yg 266 (tolong digaris bawahi kata sedikit). Karena mang ga jauh beda ama yg 266. yang paling terasa ya memory leak nya kecil and batere yg lebih irit. Tp di bold temen gw ga cocok neh OS...mereka malah lebih lelet pake OS ini dan akhirnya pada balik lagi pake yg 266.

For me OS 282 is highly recomended, pokok'e maknyus deh di bold gw.

Ya gitu deh yo repiu dari ane. Ntar kl yg 288 da official gw repiu lagi deh buat mr. shag maister...wkwwkwk

If you have been reading detik.. (and not my blog), you will have read stories about how the government is pushing RIM (Research In Motion: company who produce BB? doh!) to open a branch/store/support center in Indonesia. If you notice until now, GA ADA cabang RIM di Indonesia! ada yg bisa sebut toko resmi RIM dmn? all are distributors!

So, what happen so far even though you have got urself an official, with warranties, BB broken? lari ke operator? trus kemana larinya? oper lagi ke RIM Singapore! hadooooh.. piye iki? walaupun dikasih replacement sementara.. tapi TEUTEUP!

but Today, I just read another update about this, check it out here. The "permission" has been extended! RIM menunjukkan itikad baik katanya! apose tuh?

yang paling seru kutipan terakhir dari Pak Gatot, Kepala Pusat Informasi Depkominfo, "Ini karena mereka mulai menunjukkan itikad baik. Namun kalau sampai 21 Agustus belum juga rampung. Goodbye saja. Sertifikasi impor akan kami bekukan semua," pungkas Gatot.
