Yes, I just relate HTC One and Adele, legit.
I'm gonna do this review in English, I have an overseas friend expecting this review eagerly.
But here's the thing, I found HTC's latest creation to be truly brilliant, not because their slogan was "quietly brilliant", but because its just is.
Design
I'm going to give 9 out of 10 for the design. I'm feeling nothing but metal and glass, which makes ONE goes one on one versus the iPhone 5. All metal, no plastic in a 1-piece body. I like the way its being cold considering its a metal phone. It has irreplaceable battery, no slot for micro SD, which sacrifices the functional factors, but giving one hell of a boost to form factor & design!
I like they way that it has a curvy back side which fits better inside my jeans. Less squared edges on the side. I like the way they put the speakers. Its on top and bottom of the screen, which when we flip it horizontally, it becomes right & left speakers, which gives a stereo surround sound.
I'm testing the silver/white but I'm hoping to get the black! sleek!
The only thing I'm not very fond of about the design was the way they put the power button on top of the device while we have to unlock it from bottoms up! I have a small hand. pfft. (lucky it wasn't a 5" screen)
Display
Crisp!
The size of the display is 4.7", unlike other premium Androids, it is slightly smaller. However, the fact that it has the same resolution, 1080 x 1920, on a smaller screen, makes it has more ppi (pixel per inch density). HTC One has 469 ppi, compared to 441 ppi on other premium 5" Androids. I can feel its crisp. I'll let your subjectivity to decide on which screen size suits you better. Me? smaller hands? smaller screen.
Power
This one piece of device is damn powerful. 1.7Ghz Quad-core with a combination of 2GB ram and HTC Sense UI v5 on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 is UhMazing! Based on a week I've been using it, I can feel no lag, no reset needed, I'm feeling nothing but convenience. Lets see what happens if I use it for months and gaining cache. Watch out my tweets.
Sound
You know when we talk about HTC, we always correlate it sound to Beats, just like we collaborate Sony with Bravia or Carl Zeiss. Beats is the headphone/earphone producers that loves to collaborate with people like Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber, Kobe Bryant, etc. Almost every HTC premium device are bound to have Beats sound processor implanted in it.
The way its using Beats sound processor, right & left speakers makes it a complete mp3 player, well, yeah, you can still buy the beats headphone if you have the extra cash and the extra fuss to wear such huge accessories on your head. Hipsters, much?
HTC's philosophy is that music (and video) are meant for sharing, hence the position of the speaker. You feel 'em?
Camera
Megapixel is so 2012, welcome to the world of UltraPixel. One's camera is 4 UltraPixel big. It absorbs more lights and they say 1 UP equals to more than 3MP. So its pretty much equal to 12-13MP.
To speed things up, I found taking UltraPixel pictures are better for low light condition considering its ability to absorb more light.
What makes HTC One is great is its Zoe feature. It lets you capture moments within approximately 3 seconds. Yes it captures video/stop motion, that when you see in your album, its like moving pictures. Just like.. err.. Vine. Here's a video of it to make you see better.

And did I mention how fast the processor was? Yes, it helps on snapping pictures as well. Especially for you who enjoys being paparazzi?
Software & Apps
You know that its using Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, upgradeable to 4.2.2. What else?
Its built in with HTC's exclusive app called BlinkFeed. Its a news and social portal on top of your screen. When you turn the screen on, you will find customisable news feed from either Kompas, Detik, Associated Press, including your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Flickr. Its just like Flipboard, but exclusive.
Addition from me, install Swift Keyboard to enhance your typing experience. There's the trial version.
Overall
I found this could be the best Android phone so far. Sure it doesn't have features that you won't even know when it might come in handy and no, its not waterproof. This phone shows quality, class and heading to perfections. Especially in its design and processor.
I don't know why its only coming out now, maybe its saving the best for last? Speaking of saving the best for last, I'm hungry for some KFC skins!
