RIM and its OS7

Good morning readers!




I just twitted some of my (and my friends') experiences on blackberry, particularly, OS7. which I think is the least successful operating system, if its compared to iOS and Android or even Windows Mobile.

Some of you might already know what's happening with RIM (Research In Motion, the producer of Blackberry). Worldwide, there are news of its decreasing share prices, even some says its worth lower than Apple's AppStore alone. Due to this decrease, there are rumors of the duo CEO is resigning, takes responsibility on it.

That's worldwide.. in Indonesia alone, RIM also have some disagreements with the government concerning investments. They made tons of money in Indonesia, but opened a factory in Malaysia. What do you say to that? .. and the latest? their Bellagio launch in Pacific Place that caused people fainted, broken bones & furious (in a random order).

One of the key reason is the quality of the product itself.. here are several of my tweets:

so we'll see.. will RIM survive? comments?

From the way I see it, its gonna be challenging. Competitors are getting stronger. Besides Android & iOS, Windows mobile with Nokia Lumia, HTC Titan is just around the corner, ready to make a comeback! other than that, Samsung also preparing themselves with their very own operating system called BADA.

I say: "RIM would definitely a goner without Indonesia!"
